23 Mar Announcing the Daily Blog Post

No such thing as a free lunch?  Perhaps.  On Twitter, there are free ideas. Friday, @julien, an amazing Montreal-based podcasting entrepreneur and associate of the internet-famous blogger/blogging guru Chris Brogan posted this:

freeidea1 Announcing the Daily Blog Post

FREE IDEA: create Twitter.com/DailyBlogPost and provide one blog post idea per day. Take from the many available sources like CB's blog, etc

I jumped to it, registered the Twitter account, put up a temporary icon, and started to really think about how the “Daily Blog Post” would work.  Here is what I came up with:

The Daily Blog Post

  1. One tweet a day, before noon.  Featuring one (or more) blog posts that could inspire other bloggers
  2. @DailyBlogPost is just that:  One-tweet-a-day.  No more, no less.
  3. @DailyBlogPost will follow you back if you follow us
  4. DM or @ reply your suggestions or tips anytime!

Since @DailyBlogPost is only once a day, I recommend bookmarking Twitter.com/dailyblogpost.  The next time “bloggers block” strikes, you have a place online where an inspiring idea is likely waiting.  I’m going to give this a go for 365 tweets and report back on the experiment/project.  Please send me inspiring post ideas to share at the Daily Blog Post.  Let me know what you think in the comments below.
