06 Mar Race4Leader: Ontario New Democrats pick a leader
In the wake of the latest round of layoffs, plant closures, and the stunning by-election loss of Conservative leader, John Tory; Ontario politics just got a lot more interesting.
This weekend Ontario New Democrats gather in Hamilton to choose our new leader. Like a lot of New Democrats, I can't be there this weekend, but I'm watching on TV and online. I proudly endorsed and supported Andrea Horwath to lead the Ontario New Democrats. Like Andrea herself, I have amazing friends in all of the leadership camps. I want to extend my thanks to every New Democrat who made this a clean race and truly a contest we can be proud of no matter the outcome.
