27 May A part of Parliament in Kabul
My father is in Kabul, again. He has a habit of making Afghanistan his home for months on end. At first, it was the military that sent him. Now, Dad goes back to help the people. As much as I oppose the war (and have since it started, it's not a small factor in why I switched political parties) I do respect the work my dad and others do to make the life of Afghans better. Dad, knowing my love of the buildings on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, sent this dispatch.
